This post doesn’t carry a misspelling in the title--it’s our attempt to follow the spirit of HxA and offer a range of provocative viewpoints from a wide range of scholars, thinkers, and communities--hence “adversary” instead of “advisory.”
These assorted links will be posted at more or less regular intervals, once or twice a month. All of them should link to articles, posts, podcasts, videos, or other sources that address some aspect of open inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and constructive disagreement--sometimes bearing especially on librarians’ roles and practices, and other times framing larger cultural and political issues for us. This first set addresses this broader framing. I hope they’re useful (and provocative)!
